Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and reliability, utilizing various testing techniques and methodologies.
• Identify, document, and report defects and bugs, collaborating with developers to reproduce and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Develop and maintain test scripts, test data, and other testing materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant to the software products being tested.
• Participate in test planning, test case review, and test execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure testing aligns with project goals and objectives.
• Analyze test results, identify trends and patterns, and provide recommendations for process improvements and testing strategies.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize testing needs, ensuring that testing is integrated into the software development lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, testing tools, and methodologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve testing processes and techniques.
• Develop and maintain testing metrics and reports, providing insights into testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in retrospectives and feedback sessions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize testing processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
• Proficiency in testing tools and technologies, such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit, with experience in test automation frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report defects and bugs effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and project management.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality testing services and ensuring software reliability.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, with a strong understanding of testing in an iterative and incremental development environment.
• Familiarity with testing metrics and reporting, with experience in developing and maintaining testing dashboards and reports.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles, with experience in testing web, mobile, or desktop applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in software testing principles and methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms, such as AWS Device Farm or Google Cloud Test Lab, with knowledge of cloud-based testing strategies and techniques.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes, with experience in integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and libraries, such as TestNG or PyUnit, with experience in developing and maintaining test scripts and test data.
• Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB or CSTE, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of software testing.
