About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for coding, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As an SDE, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications, ensuring they are reliable, efficient, and meet the required specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and technical support, to identify and prioritize project requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring that the code is maintainable, scalable, and adheres to the company's coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, using debugging tools and techniques to identify and fix problems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and release notes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new tools, applying this knowledge to improve our software development processes.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that software applications are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and execute test plans, ensuring that software applications meet the required quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with software development methodologies, including agile and waterfall.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality software applications.

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, including secure coding and vulnerability assessment.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Certification in software development, such as AWS Certified Developer or Microsoft Certified Azure Developer.
