About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our team. As an SDE, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and testing software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications to meet customer requirements and business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and operations, to identify and prioritize project requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following best practices and industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the codebase.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, using debugging tools and techniques.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and release notes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve software development processes and practices.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with software development methodologies, including agile and waterfall.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality software applications.

Nice to Have

• Experience with containerization, using tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with machine learning or artificial intelligence technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, with a focus on secure software development.
• Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins or Travis CI.
• Certification in a programming language or software development methodology, such as AWS Certified Developer or Scrum Master Certification.
