Financial manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to achieve business objectives, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage financial operations, including financial reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management to inform business decisions and drive growth.
• Lead financial planning and budgeting processes, including preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax laws and accounting standards.
• Manage financial risk and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including auditors, bankers, and investors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management.
• Proven track record of financial management experience, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with financial software and systems, including financial planning and budgeting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Professional certification, such as CPA or CMA, is an asset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting, including developing and maintaining complex financial models.
• Knowledge of financial analytics and data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence and integration.
• Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to identify areas for process improvements.
• Experience with international financial management, including foreign exchange and international tax laws.
