About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. As an SDE, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions to meet our customers' evolving needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, develop prototypes, and implement scalable and efficient software systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications, with a focus on quality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop solutions that meet customer needs and expectations.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of software applications, including design documents, user manuals, and technical notes.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the codebase.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, using debugging tools and techniques to identify and fix problems.
• Work with the quality assurance team to develop and execute test plans, ensuring software applications meet the required quality and functionality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve software development processes and practices.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software applications.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to facilitate iterative and incremental software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with software development methodologies, including agile development and version control systems like Git.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and containerization technologies like Docker.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Travis CI.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality software applications.

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence technologies, and their application in software development.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, and the ability to develop secure software applications.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and serverless computing platforms like AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
