SW Tester Intern

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to identify and document software defects.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Utilize automated testing tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality and performance.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve software quality.
• Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools to enhance testing strategies.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation and test cases.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or TestRail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
• Attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.

Nice to Have

• Prior internship or project experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
